Game formats
Pick any combination per day, per round, or for the whole event. Set team sizes that work for your group — 2-, 3-, 4-player teams, or as many as you want. Mix team-based and individual formats, run multiple matches on the same round, and let everyone score themselves in their own group.
Singles Match
Head-to-head matchup between players. Run as match play (winner of each hole wins the hole; lowest count after 18 wins) or stroke play (lowest 18-hole total wins). Net or gross — your choice. Set your own dollar value per match.
Best BallTeam
Each team takes their lower net score on every hole. Most common partner format — your partner picks you up when you blow up, you carry them when they do. Match or stroke, net or gross.
ShambleTeam
Everyone tees off, the team picks the best drive, and from there it's best ball — each player finishes the hole from the chosen tee shot. Rewards a strong driver without dropping anyone from the rest of the hole.
ScrambleTeam
Pure team play. Everyone tees off, the team picks the best shot, everyone plays from there, repeat until in the hole. Great for mixed-skill groups — a high-handicapper can still contribute the occasional dream shot.
WolfRotating
A rotating-honor game. The "Wolf" of each hole watches the others tee off and decides to partner with one for that hole or play alone for double the pot (Lone Wolf). The Wolf role rotates so everyone takes turns.
Stroke PlayIndividual
Classic medal play. Lowest total score over 18 holes wins. Pure individual format — no team partner, no carryovers, just you and the course. Net scoring uses USGA handicap allocation per hole.
StablefordIndividual
Score points instead of strokes — eagle 5, birdie 3, par 2, bogey 1, double 0. High score wins, and a blow-up hole doesn't kill your round. Common in resort and group play because it keeps everyone in it.
Match Play
Hole-by-hole scoring. Win a hole, you're 1-up. Whoever wins more holes wins the match, with the count typically reported as "3&2" or "1-up". Available in Singles Match, Best Ball, and Shamble.
Low NetIndividual
Lowest net score (gross minus handicap) wins the day. Configure how many positions get paid (1st, 2nd, 3rd…), the payout for each, and whether the prize repeats daily or accumulates over the whole event.
Team Low NetTeam
Each team's net scores are summed; the lower team total wins the day. A quieter alternative to head-to-head matchups when you want one clean number per team without picking the best 1, 2, or 3 cards.
Side bets & challenges
The little games inside the big game. Add as many as you want — every payout, claim, and running total is tracked automatically and shown on the Money screen so nobody argues at the bar.
Closest to the Pin (CTP)Side bet
Pick any par 3 (or any hole) and the player whose tee shot finishes nearest to the pin wins. The admin marks the winner at the green — no measuring tape needed, no scores required. Multiple CTP holes per day are fine.
Big Boy Birdies (BBB)Side bet
Designate the hardest holes on the course. Birdie one of them and the rest of the field owes you. Stacks per claim — multiple birdies on a single BBB hole all pay out. Common on tough par 4s and reachable par 5s.
SkinsSide bet
Lowest score on a hole wins the skin. Ties carry the skin to the next hole, building the pot. Toggle net or gross, carryover on / off, and skins are computed per-cart so you can run different skins games in parallel.
GunnerPenalty
The fine for blow-ups. Tap +/− to log a Gunner against any player — score of 10+, 4-putt, lost ball, or whatever your group agrees on. Each one charges a flat dollar amount you set. The Money screen tallies them up.
Final Day MultiplierModifier
Doubles or triples all match values on a chosen final day. Build tension across the whole trip — the leading team is never safe, the trailing team always has a path. Choose 2x or 3x, applied automatically to every format.
USGA Handicap TrackingAlways on
Personal rounds update your handicap index automatically using the World Handicap System differential formula. Allocate strokes per-hole on the scorecard using each course's published stroke index. Same math used by every club.

Sets how players are grouped into carts and whether scores are per-team (one ball) or head-to-head.
Each team plays one ball. Teams auto-build to this size, and the scorecard & standings follow it.
Each group of 4 players (2 per team) plays 3 matches: 2 singles + 1 best ball.
Buy-in for side bets & challenges
A virtual pot for in-tournament wagering — tracked on the Money page, not charged to a card. (Card payments are the separate entry fee below.)
Standard: net uses the raw handicap index. USGA: net uses the course handicap (index × slope ÷ 113), so harder courses (slope > 113) give more strokes.
Individual format — players compete on their own. Groups are assembled for tee times and reporting (set "Players per group" above).
Flights group players by handicap so similar-skill golfers compete head-to-head. Each flight has its own standings. Tip: aim for 8–12 players per flight.
Defaults are USGA-conventional (Championship, A, B, C…). Edit any to match your event.
Sorts your roster by index and snake-drafts into flights so each flight is balanced.
When on, each flight's buy-ins fund only that flight's prizes (keeps the Championship flight from sweeping every payout). When off, one shared pool across all flights.

Force-sync this device to the cloud
When to use: two phones are showing different scores, or your event settings keep reverting after you change them. What it does: takes the scores + event settings on this device and overwrites the cloud copy — every other device will pick up these values on their next refresh. Use the device with the most up-to-date data.
Lock the event & release final payouts
When to use: the event is over and you're ready to award the event-total prizes (Event Low Net, Team Low Net). What it does: marks the event "complete" so the Money + Results pages show final per-player payouts. Normally this happens automatically once every group commits their final-day scores — tap this only if you entered some scores yourself (those don't auto-commit). Reversible — tap again to re-open.
Duplicate this event
When to use: you run this event on a schedule (monthly/yearly). What it does: creates a new event with the same formats, bets, side games, payouts, course assignments and player-view setup — but blank dates and no scores. You'll be asked whether to copy the players too.
Danger zone

As a temporary workaround, the event admin can record scores manually and enter them into the app once the issue is resolved.
